What we offer

Tender Learning Care offers several different programs to fit the individual needs of your work/school schedule and your child; we provide a morning and afternoon snack, as well as milk for the children to have with their lunches brought from home. Each classroom has its own refrigerator to store lunches and snacks. Our preschool is open 5 days a week, Monday through Friday.

Full Time Preschool

This program is for children two to five years old, for families where parents work or are students, or otherwise fully occupied during the week. Full time care is available Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. You may bring your child to TLC any time after 7:00 am, but you may want to check with the teacher or on the posted list of activities for your child's Daily Schedule so that important preschool activities are not missed.

Half Day Preschool

This is also for children two to five years old. You may select either the morning or our afternoon program. The morning program begins at 7:00 am and pick-up time is at 12:30 pm. The afternoon children may arrive at 12:00 noon and must be picked up by 6:00 pm. This overlap time from 12:00 to 12:30 allows the morning and afternoon children to eat lunch together and provides a comfortable, smooth transition for them.

Kindergarten and Pre-k

TLC is happy to offer a quality kindergarten/pre-k program, providing an outstanding opportunity for your child to enter public school at the “top of the class”. If you are interested in our kindergarten/pre-k program, please arrange a meeting with the Director. Be sure to ask to see the videos of children who have completed the program at Tender Learning Care, you will be astounded; our graduates typically are reading at two to three grade levels above the expected kindergarten standard. All of this is accomplished in an un-stressed environment, where learning is fun and rewarding.

Before and After School Care

This program is designed to fit the needs of school age children, up through 2nd grade. There will be time provided for rest, relaxation, play, homework and specially designed projects. Parents must arrange for transportation, as we are unable to provide transport to or from the public schools. For children who arrive or depart by bus we will see that they are safely on and off the vehicle. We also offer a full time or half time summer care program for children who are enrolled in our after school care program.
